As part of nationwide events marking the centenary of the end of World War One, BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales give the world premiere of Charles Villiers Stanford’s Mass Via Victrix (1914-1918).
The world premiere performance of Stanford’s Mass Via Victrix will be given at the BBC Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff on 27 October. The soloists will be Kiandra HowarthJessica Dandy, Ruairi Bowen and Gareth Brynmor John. The BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales will be conducted by Adrian Partington. It has yet to be announced whether the concert will be broadcast live or recorded for future transmission.
